Pro Gas Drag Bike

The paint had major damage from rocks thrown by the slick on the return road, as well as stress cracks throughout
To ensure cracks didn't re-appear, the old paint needed to be stripped down to the fiberglass. No chemicals were used, only wet & dry sanding

Once the base coat had been applied, it dried for 24 hours, then it was sanded with 2000 grit. The carbon fiber decal was cut and applied, then trimmed with 1/4 inch tape.

Teaching one of our students how to lay down a clear coat
Once the paint dried (after four weeks) the clearcoat was wet-sanded with 1500 - 3000 grit. Then a process of rubbing and polishing compound followed by a hand glaze was applied.
